Matt Price is a writer, curator and editor based in Birmingham and London. He started his career as an editor for Hans Ulrich Obrist before being appointed Managing Editor of Flash Art International, Milan. He has since worked as Deputy Editor of ArtReview and Publications Manager at Serpentine Gallery. In addition to Flash Art and ArtReview, he has also written for publications including A-n, Art Monthly, Modern Painters, Fused, Frieze and The Guardian. Having edited publications on figures including Ai Weiwei and Herzog & de Meuron, David Adjaye, Jitish Kallat and the Campana Brothers, he is currently editing a publication on early 20th-century Russian experiments in sound and electronic music for Koenig, following an exhibition he co-curated for Jeremy Deller at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, in 2008. He co-authored the recent monograph on Romanian painter Adrian Ghenie for Hatje Cantz, and wrote the biography of Anish Kapoor for his new publication by Phaidon. Matt has recently been invited to curate an exhibition of British painting for the next edition of the Prague Biennale.
