Peter Carey held a solo exhibition at Worcester City Gallery in 2000. Before that Peter was the arts officer for Camden Town during the 60's and 70's when his interest in Murals and community, critically engaged art began. From there Peter moved to Spain and worked there as an artist exhibiting in many regional and city galleries. On his return to the UK Peter settled in Worcester and has been working on murals ever since;

Peter Carey entered his WHOLE HOUSE as the submission for the Worcester Open 2010. Throughout May and June, Peter and others will be offering guided tours around his house / studio / living mural. Please book early, email info@worcesteropen.co.uk - subject line PCarey studio tour.
